Camille Schmidt was a beautiful person who loved life. She travelled widely and enjoyed meeting people. She cared deeply about helping others and loved animals. Sreative and entrepreneurial, Camille had recently created and launched her own organic spice blends business. In october 2021 camille tragically died in a car accident at 27 years of age.

CAMILLE’S NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION
Camille was such a loving person, and love is eternal.
We set up this non-profit organisation to honour Camille’s life and celebrate her “born to be wild” spirit. We are committed to keeping her memory alive by supporting three causes that were dear to her heart. She is with us every day as we work to help other young people, protect animals and defend the environment.

A beautiful and above all independent young woman who had just ‘jumped’ into adult and professional life. Because that’s how Camille was, all drive, energy, perseverance and convinced that she could make a difference, make people’s lives better.
To honour the beautiful, too short but full life of my child, we founded the non-profit organisation “From Camille With Love”. The non-profit association will serve three main purposes: young people in need, animal welfare and environmental protection.
I am 100% committed to serving this organization and hope to inspire as many people as possible to become volunteers or make a contribution to our charities.

As Camille’s dad, it was obvious for me to be part of this beautiful initiative by Sofie.
Our daughter has had the opportunity to travel a lot and to come into contact with existing and regrettable environmental problems, including global warming. She could see this with her own eyes here in New Caledonia and Australia.
I am in favour of supporting all environmental projects but especially global climate warming, because it is urgent that people all over the world take action – life on earth is in danger! All people should support an environmental project at least once a year or better still, actively participate in one.

My friend Sofie invited me to embark with her and Alex on this beautiful new adventure in memory of Camille, this dynamic and sensitive young woman whom I greatly appreciated.
I am very touched and enthusiastic to contribute to this project dedicated to helping young people in need, acting for the environment and defending animals, values that mattered so much to Camille and that I totally share.

Each year we support a cause helping young people, animals or the environment. In doing so we honour the memory of our beautiful camille who held these values close to her heart.

Our process
Proposals
Members of the association can propose a new cause for the association ‘From Camille With Love’ to support, in one of the 3 categories (youth, animals, environment) at the beginning of each year. We only support organisations that are well-established and regulated.

Selection
Proposals are considered by an internal panel, whose members are elected by adherent members of the non-profit organisation. With the help of the founding members, the panel choose the project to be supported that year and set a clear financial target.

Working groups
Adherent members will form working groups within the association, and this under the supervision of the founding members, to organise fundraising activities for the cause we are supporting.
03.
Fondraising
At the end of each year, a financial balance sheet is drawn up and the full amount is donated to the organisation we are supporting, in full transparency. The President and Thresholder of the association will control this strictly.
