A SUCCESSFUL FIRST BIRTHDAY

19 April, a special day, two birthdays: Camille’s – her 28th birthday – and the first birthday of the non-profit organisation ‘From Camille With Love’ which was created in her honour. 

To celebrate these birthdays and to “officially open” the first year of our association’s actions for the benefit of young people in Ukraine, we decided to organise a walk in the Parc de la Hulpe, a great opportunity to meet the members of the association, as well as the family and some close friends. A great community that we hope will continue to grow through the various communications and activities of the association. We keep you posted. 

24 April, the sun shines brightly on the Parc de la Hulpe, …. No doubt about it, our Camille is there, she wouldn’t miss it for the world!

Little by little, the car park becomes more and more colourful, the enthusiasm of our volunteers makes us sell our T-shirts for the cause supported this year by the association (more information here). 

At 2.30 pm, the colourful crowd seems to get into motion and starts the walk along the small winding paths of the park. Murmurs, laughter, small groups form, encounters are made, we may be witnessing the beginnings of great friendships. 

At 3.30 pm, our four-legged companions put on a water show and become the real stars of the group – a scene that reminds us of the importance that the association attaches to animal protection, one of the essential pillars of our association, and which already gives us some ideas for future projects to defend.

4.30 pm, A well-deserved break for all the participants – after a walk rich in exchanges. Time to enjoy the last rays of sunshine sitting in the flowery meadow.

A beautiful day ends, people return home happy and the few euros collected bring us closer to our goal for Ukraine, ….
